In a previous post, I announced my excitement over the release of Zentangle 7: Inspiring Circles, Zendalas, and Shapes…
I am so proud to whole-heartily recommend this book! There’s something for beginners and seasoned CZTs alike in this 20 page volume. In addition to demonstrating how to get started with Zendalas, the book features 40 new tangles by Suzanne McNeill, and techniques from CZTs you know and love. Personally, I took away several creative and exciting techniques for working with color and resist, in addition to shading techniques (can’t get enough shading tips!)
The contributing artists did a fabulous job working with the new tangles ~ you’ll see samples by Sandhyra Manne, Sue Jacobs, Margaret Bremner, Angie Vangalis, Sandy Steen Bartholomew, Erin Koetz Olson, Suzanne of course, and yours truly. I’m so honored to be included in such a creative and talented group!
If you’re new to tangling or interested in mandalas, this book will give you a foundation on how to begin and encouragement to play. If you’re a Zentangle fanatic, you’ll find inspirational artwork and techniques you can add to your creative toolkit. And of course, 40 new tangles to incorporate into your work!
