Happy 2012! I have some new and exciting things to share with you…
First of all, I will be holding Zentangle classes very soon (dates coming) in the NC Triad area. Drop me a line if you’d like to hear about classes, venues and dates, etc.
Secondly, Candance (aka The Tiny Tangler) and I are collaborating on a project creating healing tangles for use by those in healing crisis. I’ll feature a sample in my next blog post.
Now, for the subject of this blog post… NOW! Candance and I recently collaborated on a NOW clock for our friends at EarthStar Spiritual Center in Greensboro. Manawa, one of the seven life principles of Huna philosophy means “NOW is the moment of power.” We created this NOW clock using the EarthStar Shamanic Mystery School logo instead of hands (so the time is always NOW) on a background of the yin/yang symbol of balance. I tangled white on black representing feminine energies and Candance tangled black on white representing more masculine energies. The clock actually works! The logo rotates because it’s attached to where the second hand would be, and the logo syncs with the circles in the yin/yang symbol as it spins. Pretty cool! Many thanks to The Tiny Tangler for her ingenious idea!

This is THE most precious gift, & we thank both of you so much for thinking of us in such a creative, unique way. Y’all are THE best!
So glad we hung the clock where we did. We can see it from the dining room, plus every time we walk into the office.
