Recently I had the honor of illustrating a wedding gift for a friend of a friend. The recipient is a children’t grief counselor and the group presenting the gift performs puppet shows for kids about loss and  the grieving process. Very special individuals, indeed. Two of the main characters in the show are an anteater and a rabbit ~ and the theme is Hope.

I began this piece on 11-11-11 as part of my meditation that day, infusing hope and love into each tangled stroke. It is truly a gift from the heart ~ from many hearts ~ to a very special person.
